Klick Fast Low-Profile products are designed to be strong but lightweight. Reducing the weight that wearers need to carry on their person is not only important for comfort but is essential for ergonomics and helps to mitigate the risks of muscle and joint injuries.
Safety Break
Klick Fast Low-Profile is designed for carrying products that enhance user safety. But what happens if the device becomes a threat to that safety? If, for example, a device becomes snagged on a moving object or if a chest-worn device becomes a lever-point to pull the wearer to the ground?
The device needs to remain secure and in place if grabbed, snatched, or even in a physical confrontation. In-house testing indicates that forces acting on the device in these situations may reach up to 20kg to 30kg.
However, Klick Fast Low-profile is designed to release the connector from the dock at forces of around 45kg to 50kg. This safety feature balances the need for a secure fit with the duty to consider the user’s safety.
