Klick Fast Low-Profile products are designed to be strong but lightweight. Reducing the amount of weight the wearer has to carry is not only important for comfort, but also for ergonomics, helping to reduce the risk of muscle and joint injuries.
Safety Break
Klick Fast Low-Profile is designed to carry products that improve user safety. But what happens when the device becomes a threat to that safety? For example, if a device gets caught on a moving object, or if a device worn on the chest becomes a leverage point to pull the wearer to the ground?
The device must remain secure and in place when grabbed, snatched or even in a physical confrontation. In-house testing indicates that the forces acting on the device in these situations can be as high as 20 to 30 kg.
However, Klick Fast Low-Profile is designed to release the connector from the dock at forces of approximately 45 to 50 kg. This safety feature balances the need for a secure fit with the obligation to consider the safety of the user.
